The Thompson Family – Emergency Funeral Relief
When James Thompson passed away suddenly, his wife and three children were left not only grieving, but also facing the unbearable cost of funeral expenses. With no savings and no life insurance, the family was in crisis.
The USB Angel Foundation stepped in within 48 hours, covering funeral costs and helping the Thompsons provide their father with a dignified service. “Without this help, we wouldn’t have been able to bury James properly. It gave us peace of mind during the hardest days of our lives,” said Mrs. Thompson.

The Johnsons After a House Fire

The USB Angel Foundation immediately provided emergency funds for hotel lodging, food, and clothing for their children. A month later, the family was able to move into a new apartment while beginning the long road of rebuilding. “We will never forget the kindness of strangers who gave through this foundation. It truly saved us when we had nothing,” Mr. Johnson said.

Since our founding in Georgia, the USB Angel Foundation has provided immediate financial relief and emergency aid to families facing medical crises, sudden loss, and tragedy. All across Georgia, we’ve impacted households — delivering hope, coverage, and compassion when families had nowhere else to turn. Georgia remains the heart of our mission, serving as the foundation for the growing network of Angel Impact Locations across the country.
Kansas City, Kansas
Building on the success of our Georgia programs, we’ve launched our next Angel Impact Location in Kansas. The goal is to provide fast, local aid to families experiencing hardship — ensuring that no Kansas family faces crisis alone. Donor support is already laying the ground work for resources and partnerships needed to bring emergency family assistance to communities throughout the state.
Tampa, Florida
Our next expansion is already in motion. Plans are underway to establish a Tampa Impact Location by late 2026 — extending our mission of compassion and coverage to Florida families in need. We’re laying the groundwork now through community outreach, local partnerships, and early fundraising to ensure that when the doors open, we can provide the same life-changing relief that’s already transforming lives in Georgia.
